KSU vs Colorado : K-State Wins
The Cats win again and keep their place on top of the Big 12 North. Also, everyone knows that if their is a civil war, the North always wins against the South. But only because of our railroad engineers.

The Common Cold: It just might get the person in front of you wet behind the ears...
The studio is a wonderful place to be. So is the bathroom. Does that really give much credit to the studio? Who knows, but I managed to take photos in both places for my illustration of colds and cold prevention. Take a gander!

The 80's - Did the Decade End?
Sweaters are back in. So is polo, just the bike version. The real truth is, neither ever left.

Making the Ordinary not so Boring.
There are assignments and there are "assignments". The second group is the one that everyone knows and loves. These are taken because no one else wants them and someone has free time or the job just needs doing (e.g. photog in the wrong place at the wrong time). Then, when the time comes, thats when the Oh Crap moment hits. What do I do? This could be the most boring shot, the most ordinary photo in the world or it could turn out to be something fun, especially for the photographer.
I had one of those moments the other day. I was the lucky person asked to take a photo of an intersection. You know, one of those things that cars travel through? Yup, exciting. I nearly leapt out of my pants I was so excited. But then I thought better of it and kept my pants on. An hour later, I went and made this photo.

In this world, there is No Justice.
Concerts have always been a fun thing since the beginning of photography. Since the first glass plate cameras that took several minutes to expose, there probably was a photographer at concerts. Who wouldn't want to be there? I can just imagine some enterprising young photo nut going to a concert back in the 1800's and trying to make photos. The problem ended up being that since the exposure took so long, several minutes, and that they only usually let you stay for the first five minutes of the concert, then he only got one photo. Poor chap.
I was a bit more lucky the other day and the band No Justice allowed me to basically take any and all photos that I wanted to. Unlucky for me, I had class and other things to do, so I only had a couple hours during the day/night to shoot. But here is the little four photo story that I slapped together today from those few hours.
